Posted 1/2/2023

First we want to thank everyone who came out to the farm in 2022 and supported the farm! As we look towards the 2023 seasons we are starting to plan things out. 150th Farm Anniversary

Posted 2/11/2022

After a much-needed break from social media, we are back!

This year marks the 150th anniversary of the farm in the Kurtz family. As the 5th and 6th generation of Kurtz, we take great pride in continuing the tradition of farming that the previous generations have laid the foundation for. We are so thankful for the support of the community throughout the years!

Throughout this year we’ll be posting some of the history of the farm and how it has changed. A lot has happened since 1872! The buildings, equipment, land, crops, and technology are all drastically different, but the family name has been the same.

We are also planning on doing a few events to celebrate this milestone with everyone. Details on the events will be announced closer to the summer season. We are also underway with our normal planning for the 2022 crop. After a great 2021 season we are hopeful this year will turn out just as well!
